To start their graduate education, other candidates must possess a document certifying they know Turkish at a minimum of B2 level, obtained from Turkish proficiency exams such as TÖMER, DİLMER, or TYS. This score requirement may be increased upon the request of the respective departments. Candidates who do not have a Turkish proficiency certificate at the minimum B2 level from exams like TÖMER, DİLMER, or TYS will be subjected to a Turkish proficiency exam held by the university. Candidates who successfully achieve the B2 level are admitted to the program and begin their classes. Those who fail are directed to the Alanya University Turkish preparatory program for a maximum of two years, on the condition that they obtain a B2 level Turkish proficiency certificate by the end of this period. The registrations of international graduate student candidates who also fail the Turkish proficiency education will be terminated at the end of the two years. (Students must submit a petition to study in the preparatory program and sign an undertaking to provide the proficiency certificate by the end of the term).
